You're looking at the fruit of my labors. The site makes my work available, and gets me the grade in MM465, Advanced Web Design. PHP, XHTML, CSS and some MySQL action.

My first experiment with php, MySQL, phpMySQL or databases in general. A great learning experience. This portfolio site is the second experiment.

Central Illinois Auto Show
2007-03-14Peoria Metro New Car Dealers Association
The Peoria Metro New Car dealers association sponsors the Central Illinois Auto Show. For the 18th annual, they decided that it was time to have a web presence for additional promoting purposes. I designed a small site that provides all of the basic information (hours, admission, etc.) while reinforcing the promotions and sponsors. Built with XHTML and CSS.

The Peoria Metro New Car Dealers Association wanted an website to centralize their membership roster and dealers' individual websites. Site will also serve as a place to highlight the Association's community service. I designed the site shortly after finishing MM365, so this was a great opportunity to work on using validating, standards-based XHTML and CSS.

R&B Productions
2007-02-12R&B Productions
R&B Productions wanted to update the design of their website, as it hadn't been changed since 2001. Also, the company's focus had shifted to more corporate events, so a more sophisticated look was desired. I programmed the site in validating XHTML and CSS. The site is still under construction, as I will now be moving it into a MySQL database structure for dynamic updating and page creation.

Magnetic or Mosaic
2006-12-11MM365 Design for the World Wide Web
While this was a class assignment, it also served as a standards-compliant redesign of my best friend's website, Magnetic or Mosaic. He has been wanting (in need) of a site design that has a bit more "polish". I implemented the design in XHTML and CSS. Now that he is moving cross country, he needs a simple way to update the site without me. I'll be putting most of the data into a MySQL database, then I'm going to create a small, form-based CMS to ease his usage in updating the pages, adding new music, etc. The site will go "live" as the new redesign in June, to coincide with the release of a new track, "Horseshoe Ghosts" (I sing on the chorus!).
